Meg asked:
I already do a lot of cardio. I am 5″5′ and I weigh about 110 lbs. I am pretty thin but I have always had cellulite. I do weigh training like lunges and squats but it doesn’t seem to work. Any suggestions from personal experience?

cellulite
I would suggest a personal trainer to assist you. Go to a gym that has one and ask them. I’m sure they will assist you in losing the cellulite on your upper back and thighs. Don’t take meds for it as they don’t do much of anything.

Hanging Leg Lifts.
Hang from a Pull-up bar.
Lift your legs up and curl your but as if you were trying to touch your chest with your knees.
Do as many reps as you can. Rest for 1 minute and repeat.
Do this in sets of three. Resting 1 to two minutes between each set.
This helps strengthen your abbs and lower back. “Your inner core”

drink plenty of water at least 8 glasses a day. I’ve heard od message.
Prevent Cellulite
pretty much nothing you do is going to help. as a matter of fact, it is going to get worse and worse.

Cellulite sucks and there is not much you can do to get rid of it. There are things you can do to at least help it a little though. As far as exercise- you need to gain more muscle in your legs. WEIGHTS WEIGHTS WEIGHTS! Leg presses. etc. Then of course there are those lovely “creams” that all claim to do some sort of magic. None of them will make a drastic difference but Lancome makes a day and night serum that does at least diminish those bumps. The trick is you have to use it consistently and for several weeks otherwise you will see no difference. Good Luck!!
Get rid of Cellulite
cellulite is genetic… like hair color, having a large nose or boney knees. 80% of all women have cellulite in one form or another and in at least one area of the body. it’s a result of how your muscle and fat tissue is formed in your body (in a honeycomb type structure)… it’s different then men (in long parallel rows) therefore men can be very heavy but not have cellulite. you can’t change the structure of your body tissue any more than you can change out your leg bones to be taller or change out your skull to have fuller cheek bones.
there’s nothing you can do to get rid of it… there are some options to help reduce the appearance like massage but these techniques are fairly new and very expensive. there are also a whole bunch of creams that claim to help but the help is minimal for the money you’ll spend
what you are doing right now is perfect for keeping the appearance and progression to a minimum…. your weight is perfect and you sound very very healthy so keep up the good work.
sorry – probably not what you wanted to hear.

Sounds like you get a good workout. I’d say you can target them alittle better. Instead of trying to explain, go to your search engine and type in “exercises for hamstrings and glutes” and look at the exercises. You might want to try them separately. You can build the muscles in this area, now on to another idea:
Everyone is born with so many fat cells. They get bigger or smaller according to what we eat. How is your diet? Is it possible that some sweets or fatty foods are being ingested? If this is true, cut back the sweets and fatty foods and you should notice a dif pretty quick. Also heredity plays a big part as well. I personally think alittle jiggly is ok and healthy, otherwise all is skin and bones.
