How can you exercise cellulite off your legs?

Ain’t She Somethin’? asked:

I’ve been in good shape all my life, and I’m definitely not fat. I’m 5’5 and I weigh 102. I run everyday about 2 miles, but I’ve always had fat/cellulite on my thighs and knees. What can I do about this?

Get some coco butter or cellulite cream. Now, go running.

try more thigh-targeting exercises, and also i heard cocoa butter works well so smother that on frequently.

Have you ever tried the workout machine called “leg magic”? It’s a simple enough exercise but OMG, it’s difficult if you’re not used to using the inner thigh muscles.
My husband is a marine drill instructor and he can’t do it for more than a minute..
But if you stick with it, you can have killer legs and behind..

You can’t exercise cellulite off. It is a layer of fat between the skin and muscle. (Some people have it…some don’t.) My advice would be to do more leg lifts. If you can build a leaner layer of muscle, the cellulite will appear smoother. I would also try some of the lotions and skin firming products.

Sadly, theres no cure for cellulite, dont waste money on creams or special formulas, it stays there forever, not even surgery can reduce it.

Squats, **** lifts, lunges and ham string excercises work best.
Also, you can check out non-surgical Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don’t eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic. Also, most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.
