<p>Well, to say I&#8217;ve done them all would be an understatement.</p>
<p>With over 15 years experience helping others, training myself, training for sports, spending countless hours in the gym, AND actually conducting laboratory research studies on different exercise methods, I&#8217;m pretty confident in knowing what works and what does not.</p>
<p>Time. Do you have it? For those of you who can&#8217;t spend 90 minutes per day exercising I want to talk to you.</p>
<p>People read in magazines that we need to spend so much time on this and we disconnect.</p>
<p>For someone who is not a triathlete and just wants to tone and lose weight you don&#8217;t need to work out 6-8 hours/week.</p>
<p>Therefore to get a better body, you need&#8230;</p>
<p>For warming up use your body-weight, to build muscle use strength training supersets, and then to burn fat in a short amount of time and finish your workout use interval training. This system is made so that you can be in and out of the gym in 45 minutes only 3 times per week.</p>
<p>Warm up using 5 minutes of bodyweight exercise. This will be much more effective than walking on a treadmill. Walking on a tread mill will only get you ready to walk more on a treadmill.</p>
<p>The next 20 minutes are going to be spent with strength training supersets. Use two exercises back to back with minimum rest in the middle. For this you will use basic exrcises and depending on your goal for muscle building possibly add more bodyweight exercises.</p>
<p>Finally, 18 minutes of interval training. This will include a warm up, then determined by the client&#8217;s fitness level five or six short intervals while switching off with short periods of low intensity recovery.</p>
<p>Most people run, cycle or ride a cardio machine for 45 min. straight which will burn calories. But won&#8217;t get you that six pack.</p>
<p>In fact, long slow cardio has a downside. We already know results are different. But overusing muscle groups leads to injuries and it is an inefficient form of exercise. When are you going to build your muscles and sculpt that beautiful body if you are on a cardio machine for 30-45 min straight?</p>
<p>So the best way to burn belly fat is with a combination of strength training and interval training. It&#8217;s fast, it works, and it&#8217;s fun!</p>

<p>&#8220;Staying young&#8221; doesn&#8217;t mean that we&#8217;re turning into Benjamin Button, but doing things now to slow the aging process is a smart idea. Neighbors of mine have faced serious health issues that have caused them to move where their family can take care of them. They never seemed to challenge their bodies or minds and are paying the price for it now.</p>
<p>Our bodies seem to slow down and every ache and pain makes us realize just how old we&#8217;re getting. This doesn&#8217;t need to be the case if you choose to move around. Make that conscious decision to get your body moving. Leg lifts, arm lifts, marching in place, all good movements but you have to do them. Don&#8217;t let your body become your downfall in the aging process, make those changes today.</p>
<p>Choose to keep your mind active! Read, watch shows that inspire you, learn a new task, become a volunteer, etc. Volunteerism is a growing facet of our culture right now. People who have never volunteered before are stepping up and helping out. As part of your effort, you could sign up for a charity walk and kill two birds with one stone. I don&#8217;t mean literally! Train and prepare yourself for any charity event you might choose. There are so many options for keeping &#8220;you&#8221; from being that poor old soul.</p>
<p>Be sure to check with your family physician before you try any exercise program, you don&#8217;t want to hurt yourself. Most doctors will tell you that walking is good because you are not putting a lot of strain on your joints. Water aerobics is even less strain, so if you have a pool available to use, use it! Start slow and work up to what feels comfortable.</p>
<p>I like my life and I want to make the most of it. Therefore I&#8217;m not letting &#8220;old age&#8221; take over. Don&#8217;t live to regret the chance you have to age gracefully.</p>

There are many benefits of receiving massage therapy, but like any treatment there are ways to better maximize its effectiveness.</p>
<p>People are seeking more natural and holistic treatments to their common ailments. Massage therapy has been given throughout time to relieve stress, and reduce muscle stiffness. There is a great variety of massage schools which have sprung up around the world. Many of these massage techniques are now widely available. Regardless of which massage technique you receive, there are some simple to follow guidelines on maximizing your therapy results.</p>
<p>Try to avoid eating before you receive a massage treatment the general rule is eat at least 30 minutes before receiving such a treatment. This is important so that your body is free to start the recuperation and healing process. Otherwise, energy must be diverted to digest and process the food that you just ate. This causes the body to have to process other things rather than concentrate on healing.</p>
